India

Antara River Cruises offers Indian and international clients a new way to experience travel on the rivers of South Asia, sailing along untouched destinations, visiting bustling cities, hidden villages, and serene waters, all the while unpacking only once.

Antara seeks travelers who are looking for untouched experiences on the region’s life-giving river systems. We seek to offer rare vistas of contemporary South Asia, in all its antiquity and futurity, on ships that offer great creature comforts, warm service and graceful travel. Each handcrafted ship is uniquely designed to give passengers nested adventures. We achieve this by having a really high passenger to crew ratio of 36:40+ and guides and special lecturers who offer insight into the worlds that passengers encounter each day.

Beautiful textiles, art, cutlery, furniture, libraries, boutiques, wellness and spa and activities are themed to the cruises and make the stay onboard a sensorially rich experience. Each shore excursion is chosen to surprise, thrill and provoke the curious traveller.
